Develop English & hands-on skills for café work.

This skills class is designed to prepare individuals for success in English-speaking cafés in Australia.

Combining practical learning with English communication skill development, participants will gain hands-on experience using professional Barista equipment while also enhancing their specialized vocabulary for the café work environment and interpersonal communication skills. The program, falling under CRICOS Course Code: 0101688 General English Program, offers opportunities to learn coffee-serving vocabulary, gain proficiency in using professional coffee-making equipment, develop teamwork and barista skills, and improve language skills for the job search.

Additionally, participants will have the chance to serve coffee to students at the ILSC Café on their campus, further enriching their real-life experience. This flexible skills class can be added to the General English program at any time.
