ABS Barista – Newcastle

The 5-hour barista course offered by CBD College leads to a nationally recognized Statement of Attainment, including the units of competency SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee and SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety (issued by RTO# 91399).

The course is designed to teach participants with no prior experience how to use a coffee machine effectively. Throughout the course, attendees receive hands-on training and guidance on various essential skills, such as frothing milk, making espresso, and preparing a diverse range of coffees commonly found in cafes. Participants also learn the necessary techniques for cleaning and maintaining the coffee machine to ensure its optimal performance and longevity.

By the end of the course, learners will have gained the knowledge and practical abilities required to become proficient baristas and handle coffee machines confidently.
